Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and feasibility studies during the design phase
- Develop tender documentation and assist in contractor selection and negotiations
- Monitor project costs and expenditures throughout the construction phase; update budgets and track variation
- Perform interim valuations, issue payment certificates, and manage subcontractor payments
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks; perform value engineering to optimize cost-efficiency
- Administer contracts, including variation orders, claims, and final account settlements
- Conduct site inspections to validate progress and completed works
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, health & safety, and quality standards
- Prepare and present regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final project summaries to stakeholders .
- Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers] Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost consultancy, or related commercial roles
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS/AIQS) is an advantage
